In the new season of Black Mirror, we see a user’s eyes appear on the front of their VR headset. It might seem a little goofy, but I think the action clearly conveys the user shifting their focus to the other real person in the room with them. It can also carry some ✨dramatic impact✨ when timed appropriately 😂
It looks a lot like EyeSight on Apple Vision Pro – a reverse passthrough feature that lets those around you know that you aren’t fully immersed in an experience. From what I understand the Black Mirror version is brighter and sharper than the v1 in AVP.
The new season of Black Mirror was released last week. I’m excited to work my way through it – it looks like there are some immersive tech themes ahead!
