The goal of this project: make an interactive installation for a cocktail party fundraising event.
Concept
RFIDs were attached to drinks. When a person moves their drink from one cocktail table to another, a “string” is projected between the two tables. If someone then crosses that “string” it gets plucked, like a guitar, and small speakers on the tables emit a tone. The idea here is that the installation is encouraging people to move between tables and mingle.
My role: audio effects coding, projection mapping, installation of piece, hardware design, presentation design & delivery, video editing
